Meals are freshly prepared using organic and biodynamic produce from local farms, where possible, depending on the season. Meals at YIP are mostly vegetarian. Vegan, lactose-free or gluten-free options are available upon request.
Participants and staff eat meals together in a nearby restaurant and will occasionally help out in the kitchen with food-preparation and dishwashing.
The YIP Program Fee includes Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner from Monday through Friday served on campus. Participants are responsible for providing and preparing their weekend meals. All participant houses have cooking facilities.
