Nahia Eraña
Nahia grew up in the Basque Country, Spain. Coming from a family very involved in sports and health, she has always had a strong connection to the body and movement, first through competitive sports and also as an integral part of human health. The Waldorf School she attended throughout primary and secondary school also had a significant influence on her education.
After finishing high school, she volunteered for a year at Newton Dee Camphill in Scotland, where she started asking herself lots of questions about social dynamics and the bigger questions about the world we live in.
Upon returning to Spain, she studied for a Bachelors degree in Nutrition Science at the Rovira i Virgili University in Tarragona, driven by her desire to understand health and the basis upon which we all depend. However, she realised she wanted to move to a more holistic way, so she travelled around Europe for a few months to gain a better understanding of the social aspects of health and wellbeing. She is now interested in how to sustain healthy and sustainable food systems.
