Landing in Wudang Mountain
16 Nov - 20 Nov - 08:45 - 12:30
This week time will be given to land and adjust to Wudang Mountain and learn about Chinese Philosophy from local contributors.
Wudang Mountain is one of the oldest and most important cultivation sites of Daoism.
Daoism (or Taoism) is an indigenous Chinese philosophy and religion centred on living in harmony with the Dao—the natural, ineffable flow of the universe. It emphasises simplicity, naturalness, and wu wei (effortless action) to achieve balance. During this first week of arriving in Wudang and China, we will spend our days orienting both in the practicalities, social dynamics and the intentional realities of this monastic culture and place.
