Gardening Week
With Spring comes time to prepare the land for a new season of growth. The Yippies will spend the mornings learning from Thomas Lüthi who will return to YIP after the Autumn course. The focus of this course amongst others, will be on the starting Spring season by observing nature’s processes closely through nature observation and phenomenology. In the afternoons, the Yippies will work together with the YIP gardener Alexa to prepare the garden for the summer season. The biodynamic compost from Autumn will be revisited and worked with.

Thomas Lüthi
Thomas Lüthi was born in 1947 in Zürich, Switzerland. He studied biodynamic farming and gardening at Warmonderhof in the Netherlands and worked as a gardener in the United Kingdom and Järna in Sweden. Thomas was the president of Demeter International, co-leader of the Section for Agriculture at the Goetheanum in Dornach, Switzerland and chairman of the International Biodynamic Council. In …
