Colin Craig has been involved in working for reconciliation for over 40 years. He has had extensive experience of working with the Voluntary, Community, and Public Sectors. He has worked professionally as a Youth Worker, a Director of a Juvenile Justice Project and a Principal Officer and Regional Consultant for a UK National Charity. From 1990 – 2001 he was the Centre and Programme Director for the Corrymeela Community.
In 2000, he co-founded TIDES Training. His major interest is in supporting the development of the new leadership necessary to bring communities through post-conflict resolution through to interdependence and reconciliation. His work involves him both locally and internationally to build training programmes on Conflict Management and Diversity. In Northern Ireland he works extensively across the Voluntary/Community and Public sectors. Over the last 20 years he has trained in Europe, Africa, Middle East, Canada, USA and South East Asia. His work as part of the Youth Intervention Network in California on Youth and Gang violence was acknowledged in a national award from the Department of Justice in the USA.
He is now the Senior Partner in Different Tracks Global which is committed to building new systemic and collaborative frameworks to support its mission of “building communities and organisations joyfully striving for a social ecology founded on the integration of social justice with equitable economics and ecological interdependence”.
